Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

the power of social media and influence - whether for good or not -. To be continued on an almost daily basis to cause laughter or tears, thoughts, and in some cases a call to order

Over the years I was really amazed at how the growth in social media, but much, much more creative ways individuals accept the "technologies" and - in his own way - make something unique. What is most inspiring is how some "make nice" with their social media presence.

My earliest recognition of the power of social media for philanthropic activities came a few years ago in my work with the Run for the Cure Foundation - a non-profit whose mission is to eradicate breast cancer in Japan as a life-threatening diseases through education, timely screening and treatment. While the media such as Facebook and Twitter are almost non-existent in Japan at that time, we were successful through blogging and online viral marketing programs to drive interest and fundraising activities across the nation through both time and money efficient pristup.Zaklada continues to expand its online presence, and interest and financing continues to grow -. Clear evidence of the fact that social media for "doing good" is actually

But in the end, it is certainly not surprising. Provided that the message is directed to the right audience, and you can capture their interest with information that is appealing, on-line access is almost guaranteed to work. Perhaps that is a gross generalization, but the fact is that we have witnessed time and time again with organizations around the world that are affected by their online and offline presence to affect change in their local markets, and in any other place where an Internet connection available.

On my return to MySpace in November, I was introduced almost by accident, that Mr. Benjamin Bach, who lives and works in Canada. Benjamin was the host of Movember campaign via Twitter, and I was intrigued by all the debate about ideas and Benjamin work on the project. Shortly thereafter I found myself involved in a conversation, and before I knew it, I happily offer the Movember charity auction, all in the name of prostate cancer awareness. Days later, after savage Twitter-based supply the war, I eventually lost the auction, but decided to offer a cash sum promised in any case, for two core reasons. My grandfather would be turning 100 years on the same day auction concluded with prostate cancer are not put on a nice vacation and love a man 23 years earlier. That in itself is reason enough for me to remember my grandfather in this way by helping others to be aware of testing and treatment options for this terrible disease. But I also mostly amazed at how much a person can build recognition for an extremely important cause, using the power of online tools and his group of followers. At the end of the day, charity auction was a teaser, but the cause is a real boost. And as I scoured the net for more activities of this kind, I was immediately struck by how close our world is becoming.

Two weeks ago I made a comparison to the now well-known Ted Williams story - the homeless man down on his luck, but with a voice so resonant Quivers your being with a fortune of his own words <. / P >......

sidenote before continuing - I know there are countless other homeless people who continue to fight on our streets, most of whom are also in need of more happiness, and lack of special talent like Mr. Williams. I also know that drugs and alcohol, and short, but there is a life of crime plagued his past. But, as I'm concerned, everyone deserves a second chance. This post is not intended to reinforce the discussion Mr. Williams' past - or future - but what is there with him in the past few weeks is a clear example of how the idea of one person can make a big change

In five days, Williams was on the Early Show and Today is show. He received a job offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken, Kraft and MSNBC. Dreams of new life suddenly became an absolute reality, and it seems that Williams is on the way to new success and what will hopefully be a full recovery. But it's not just about one man's wayward journey that we hope and helpfully headed back to the course of the journalists who introduced Williams to nas.Priča has raised awareness of homelessness throughout our country and about our world. One reporter asked Williams about what we should take from their experiences. He replied, character and honesty, reminding us all important - as I said in my previous post - about the book cover and metaphorically. So no matter what your thoughts are Mr. Williams, we all learned a valuable lesson. Many of us have had a checkered past, but this does not necessarily dictate our future.
